Greg Kennett Tennis Camps are a great combination of athletics and FUN! It covers all aspects of tennis including skill development, match strategy, competition and mechanics. Each athlete will have the opportunity to develop their skills through individual and group instruction, a variety of drills, games, and match play.
Saint Mary's College is very fortunate to have some of the finest collegiate coaches in Northern California. Head Men's Coach Greg Kennett and Assistant Men's Coach Nicholas Combs hand select and train their staff, composed of top-level coaches and collegiate players. All instructors have been chosen for their extensive knowledge of tennis and their enthusiasm to work with children and young athletes.
SMC Tennis camps will be directed and coached by SMC Tennis Coaches Greg Kennett and Nicholas Combs. Camps will focus on all aspects of tennis: stroke production, skill development, match play, strategy, footwork, and FUN!!
Each day of Summer Sessions, we will focus on 4 major areas of Tennis Player Development:
- Technical: individual stroke development process
- Physical: tennis specific fitness drills
- Tactical: drill situations and point play
- Mental: guided mindset during match play
